Adaptive Broadband Selects Alpha's GaAs ICs For Broadband Internet Access and Wireless LAN SystemsWOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2000--Alpha (NASDAQ:AHAA) announced today that several of its market-leading GaAs IC switches and control devices have been chosen by Adaptive Broadband Corp. for their high-speed broadband and wireless LAN systems. The Alpha products allow Adaptive Broadband to use bandwidth more efficiently in its high data rate wireless solutions operating in the 2.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz frequency range.
