Alpha to Announce First-Quarter Fiscal 2002 Financial Results on July 18, 2001; Company to Webcast Conference Call Live At www.alphaind.comWOBURN, Mass., Jul 9, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- In conjunction with its regularly scheduled first-quarter fiscal 2002 financial results news release, Alpha Industries (Nasdaq: AHAA) plans to host a quarterly conference call for investors at 5:15 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, July 18, 2001.

The conference call will be broadcast live over the Internet. Investors who want to hear the call should log on to the investor relations section of the Company's Web site, www.alphaind.com, at least 15 minutes prior to the event's broadcast. The call will be archived on the Web site for two weeks.
