Skyworks Congratulates Samsung on Winning Two FEMTO Cell AwardsWOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 2008--Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS), an innovator of high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors enabling mobile connectivity, today congratulates Samsung on recently winning two prominent FEMTO cell awards. Jang Young Shil, presented by the Maeil Business Newspaper - the most influential economic daily in Korea, and the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) - operated by the Korean government, is granted based on technological importance, originality and economic value.

In addition, Samsung was awarded the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Best of Innovations 2008 in the Wireless Handsets Accessories category for UbiCell, a small, personal base station that installs without any technical assistance and works with users' mobile phones to provide secure, indoor cellular service over existing broadband networks.
