Skyworks' Karl E. Mentzel Named Mexicali, Mexico's Executive of the Year; Prestigious Annual Award Recognizes Business Leadership and Community Service
Mentzel received the award at a ceremony held in Mexicali on June 10, attended by Baja California's Secretary of Employment, Rafael Ayala Lopez, and the Sub-Secretary of Economic Development, Roberto Reyes Rivera; as well as more than 600 guests.
"For the last 35 years, the Executive Sales and Marketing Association has presented the Mexicali Executive of the Year Award to a deserving individual who has made significant contributions to our great city of Mexicali and Baja California," said Miguel Angel Zazueta Hiuzar, president of the Mexicali Executive Sales and Marketing Association. "Mr. Mentzel's leadership and efforts in the local community render him the perfect recipient for our 2004 award."
