Skyworks Supports Samsung's Newest GPRS, EDGE and 3G Handsets
“Skyworks is pleased to be an integral part of Samsung’s compelling new
lineup of GPRS, EDGE and 3G handsets as we continue to partner with a
broader set of baseband suppliers,” said
About Skyworks’ FEMs and PAs
- The SKY77170 PA module for wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) is a fully matched 10-pad surface mount module that covers the full 1920-1980 megahertz (MHz) bandwidth and meets the stringent spectral linearity requirements of high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) data transmission with high power-added efficiency (PAE) for up to 27 dBm output.
- The SKY77336 PA module for quad-band global system for mobile communications (GSM)/GPRS is designed in a compact form factor for cellular handsets supporting gaussian minimum-shift keying (GMSK) and polar EDGE modulation.
- The SKY77344 PA module for quad-band GSM and EDGE is designed in a compact form factor for cellular handsets supporting GMSK and linear EDGE modulation.
- The SKY77519 transmit-receive (Tx-RX) FEM for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE-single band WCDMA antenna switch support contains a very low profile and EDGE polar modulation.
- The SKY77531 Tx-Rx integrated phase and amplitude controller (iPAC)™ quad-band FEM for GSM/GPRS also contains a low profile compact form factor.
- The SKY77534 Tx-Rx iPAC dual-band GSM/GPRS FEM is designed in a low profile, compact form factor and offers a complete transmit voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO)-to-antenna and antenna-to-receive surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter solution.
These modules are manufactured using lead (Pb)-free, restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliant packaging.
