Skyworks Appoints Bruce Freyman Vice President of Worldwide Operations; Brings Valuable Operations and Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience as Company Focuses on Driving Gross Margin Improvements
Freyman most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Amkor Technology, one of the world's largest semiconductor assembly and test companies. Prior to becoming Amkor's president, Freyman held various senior management positions, including executive vice president of operations from 2001 through 2004, leading their worldwide business, manufacturing operations and supply chain logistics efforts. Prior to joining Amkor, Freyman spent 10 years with Motorola, managing their semiconductor packaging operations for portable communication products.

Freyman received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
