Skyworks Welcomes Governor of Baja California; Dignitaries to Meet with Skyworks' Executives in Irvine, Calif.WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 2005--Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS), the industry's leading wireless semiconductor company focused on radio frequency (RF) and complete cellular system solutions for mobile communications applications, announced that it will host a visit today from the Governor of Baja California, Eugenio Elorduy, as he tours California. Governor Elorduy will meet with Skyworks' executives at the company's offices and engineering facilities in Irvine, Calif., primarily to thank the company for its investment in Baja California and to discuss future needs. Skyworks owns and operates an assembly and test facility in Mexicali, Mexico, which employs approximately 2,000 people and produces more than 800 million wireless semiconductor solutions per year.
