(NASDAQ:SWKS), the industry's leading wireless semiconductor company focused on radio frequency (RF) and complete cellular system solutions for mobile communications applications, today announced it has received volume purchase orders for its complete CDMA2000 RF subsystem from Grupo Vitelcom, a leading handset manufacturer in Europe, for mobile phones targeted at Latin America. As the adoption of CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1X EV-DO technologies continue to increase across global geographies, Skyworks is delivering complete radio solutions for the deployment of next-generation services, supporting higher data rates and multimedia functionality.
